PDCC represents you to the Legislature:
Last year PDCC helped to craft the reform language for AB 758 which bans the Type 1 indemnity clauses in residential construction. This should help to immediately reduce general liability insurance premiums for subcontractors working on residential projects. Negotiations for this program lasted over two years. This is only one of many bills that PDCC has supported to help the Painting Contractors in California.
PDCC represents you to CCCC
The California Coalition for Construction in the Classroom represents the construction industry to the Legislature, the educators, and the public. CCCC is pushing to return workshops back into school curriculum, while also gathering support for the Career/Technical Education (CTE) bills, many of which were just signed into law by Governor Schwarzenegger. PDCC is a long time member of CCCC.
PDCC represents you to the Industry:
PDCC is the only trade organization that represents you as a member of the California Paint Council (CPC). CPC constantly works to insure that you will have quality products available to perform quality jobs.
PDCC Executive Director, Clifford Burg, is tirelessly representing your interest to California Lawmakers, so that you can have the opportunity to continue your business in a professional manner. One of Cliff’s goals is to eliminate or mitigate any bill that would curtail your ability to operate without undue government interference.
The PDCC Board of Directors supports every effort to level the playing field so you can earn a fair living. This board is comprised of Contractor and Associate Members.
